Microvarsity’s AgroMap (Beta)
Welcome to the Microvarsity’s Agro Intelligence Map (Beta)— a simple but powerful visual tool that helps you see what each state in Nigeria produces and where the country’s major agricultural opportunities are.
Whether you’re an exporter, buyer, agribusiness owner, researchers, policymakers, or investor, this map gives you a quick overview of:
- The top commodities each state is known for
- Estimated production volumes and export potential
- Major local markets and trade routes
- The nearest ports and export access points
- And a few notes on each state’s unique strengths
This is just the first version, built to make Nigeria’s agricultural data easy to understand and explore.
What’s Coming Next
We’re still building and improving this project — this is some of the things to expect in subsequent versions:
- Live satellite insights showing real-time production and yield updates
- Market price data for top crops across states
- Filters so you can explore by crop type, region, or export potential
- A link between this map and our Microvarsity Export Trade Accelerator (META) program — where you’ll learn how to turn these insights into real export deals and export simulation
Our goal is simple: to make agricultural data in Nigeria useful, visual, and accessible to everyone. We welcome your feedback as we work to make this the most comprehensive, useful market intelligence platform for Nigeria’s dynamic agri-sector.
So, think of this as Version 1 — it’ll keep getting better!
